About US

In addition to our literacy project, we also have our hands in many other projects serving the community

Through partnerships with other non-profits, schools and community organizations our group supports:

  • The Aktion Club (service and leadership for adults with disabilities)
  • Baskervill Food Pantry, Sheriff’s department stuffed animal drive, Pop Tab collections to support Ronald McDonald House
  • Adopt a Highway – Sandy Island Rd Cleanup
  • Field of Honor Fundraiser
  • Stables Park Playground project
  • and more…

When we meet

Our breakfast meetings are held the 1st, 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at Eggs Up on Willbrook Blvd, in Litchfield. Breakfast starts at 730, meetings begin at 8. We have a wonderful array of guest speakers, so feel free to stop by for breakfast and the opportunity to meet some great people and learn more about our community and Kiwanis.

The 3rd Thursday of each month, we do an evening social event.

Kids need Kiwanis and we need you! We are looking for men and women to continue the Pawleys Island Kiwanis more than 27 years of service to the youth of our area.

Want to learn more? Have a question? We would love to hear from you!

Our Literacy Project has distributed  50-thousand books to Georgetown County kindergarten through 3rd graders and many nonprofits that promote and teach early reading.

The Pillows and Books for Pre K program has been a huge success. Each child receives a personally monogrammed reading pillow with three age appropriate books. Since 2021, we have distributed over 300 pillows.
