I am proud of the service record of the Pawleys Island Kiwanis club over the past twenty years.

The Literacy Project, named the Signature Project for the Carolinas, has distributed morethan 5-thousand books to five Georgetown County schools and more than a half dozen non-profits that promote and teach early readers.

In addition we have developed a pre-school playground at Stables Park, awarded Scholarships to seniors, promoted safety with our first Bike Rodeo last year, supported youth sports and sponsoredK-Kids, Builders and Key Clubs in area schools. Our Terrific Kids Award programse ensuret all kids are Terrific!

Now we need more members to do an even better job of service to kids and community.

Our Door2Door new member visits begin Nov 12. I hope you will take time to learn more about the Pawleys Island Kiwanis club.
