Thanks to all who guaranteed more books for more kids in Georgetown County

We finished Palmetto Giving Day just shy of our goal of $10-thousand dollars. Some checks have come in putting us over the top . It was our first try and we are very happy with the results. Thanks to all who made it possible. You can still help us out if you missed your chance. Options are listed below.

Our budget will double for the next school year allowing us to not only provide books to all second and third graders but to add Kindergarten and first grade as well.

It means more Pillows and Books for Pre K kids giving those young readers an early taste of having their own books

On this day, volunteers across Georgetown and Williamsburg Counties will be reading to 200 elementary & childcare center classrooms.
We just need YOU to donate one hour of your day from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM on November 2, 2023 at your favorite Elementary School in Georgetown & Williamsburg Counties.
No experience necessary, just a love of reading.
Materials will be provided!
Volunteers will read to a PreK, Kindergarten, 1st or 2nd grade class. Register yourself, friends and/or colleagues EARLY to choose which school you would like volunteer to.
Read to a classroom, interact with students, and make a DIFFERENCE at your local Elementary School!
