Stuffed Animal Roundup

For 20 years, Pawleys Island Kiwanis has been one of the major donors for stuffed animals provided to the Georgetown Sheriff’s department to provide comfort to children facing crises like accidents, fire, or domestic violence. The purpose is to give children in distressing situations a sense of security and distraction. Officers carry the stuffed animals in their patrol cars and distribute them to children they encounter in stressful crisis situations; therefore, we ask for small to medium size, new or gently used.

We will accept donations year-round, but we also provide a drop box during the months of September – December at the Waccamaw Neck Library, 41 St Paul Place, Pawleys Island.
